A Single Layer Elliptical Paraboloid Latticed Shell Loading Test
The deviations in the geometric dimensions of the members and nodes of the shell structure,as well as the surface deviations, have a significant impact on the internal forces and overall stability of the shell. In the safety assessment of existing shell structures, when quality deviations are identified, the load-carrying capacity calculation should consider these deviations. However, specific methods are not provided in the standards. In this paper, taking a single-layer elliptical paraboloid shell structure load test as the background,it is discussed how to use the load test to verify the existence of quality deviations in the single-layer elliptical paraboloid shell structure, and how to increase the structural load-carrying capacity under additional hanging load conditions. This study also provides a basis for improving the accuracy of the check model for the structural load-carrying capacity.
