Evaluation and Improvement Strategies for Water Reduction in Xiangshan Tunnel Sandstone
This paper focuses on the construction of Xiangshan Tunnel of Zhonglan Railway in Neogene water-rich weakly cemented sandstone strata, especially on the effect of advanced surface deep well dewatering and subsequent improvement strategies. After deep well dewatering, the water content and seepage in the cave have been significantly improved, the bedrock fissure water has been significantly reduced, and the surrounding rock has shown better self-stability.Based on the actual construction and observation data, the effect of deep well dewatering is evaluated. In order to ensure the precipitation effect and further strengthen the stability of sandstone,a series of improvement measures are proposed. It is recommended to adopt innovative strategies in technology and materials, and the importance of establishing an efficient monitoring system is emphasized.
