Application Research of Edge Computing-based Vibration Monitoring Sensor for Buildings
Existing buildings undergo changes in dynamic properties due to aging of structures and materials, resulting in structural damage and reduced seismic performance.Real-time monitoring of structural dynamic properties of buildings is one of the main methods to obtain changes in structural dynamic properties in a timely manner. At present, wireless vibration sensors have been widely used in the vibration monitoring of building structures, but they have the problems of large data transmission and high requirements for communication bandwidth. Therefore, this paper designs a wireless vibration sensor for building structures based on edge computing, which contains calculations such as vibration acceleration signal acquisition,filtering,time-frequency domain analysis, and house vibration signal analysis, and uploads the results of the calculations to the server side, which greatly reduces the bandwidth and the communication volume.Through the small vibration table verification test shows that:the sensor can accurately calculate the vibration frequency, vibration acceleration and velocity, and make judgment and alarm according to the housing appraisal specification. It solved the wireless vibration sensor data transmission, low degree of intelligence, has a broad application prospects.
