Research on Deformation Control Measures of Deep Foundation Pit Engineering Close to Heritage Listed Buildings
To excavate the foundation pit adjacent to existing buildings can easily lead to deformation of the buildings,and thus have a serious impact on their use and safety.This paper takes a project in Nanjing's Confucius Temple Scenic Area as an example,design of the envelope structure,design of isolation piles,construction control and digital monitoring measures can be used to control the deformation of the foundation pit and surrounding environment,protect the safety of heritage listed buildings.Monitoring results show that data of monitoring items are all within the monitoring control limits,provided effective protection for the existing buildings.Moreover,the design,construction measures and monitoring data can serve as a reference for similar engineering project.
