Analysis of Excavation Consumption and Economic Evaluation of Large Diameter Shield Tunneling in Sand and Gravel Strata
In large-diameter shield tunneling projects, accurately and reasonably calculating the project investment is crucial for the smooth progress of the project. This study focuses on the construction project of Hangzhou Fuyang Qinwang Tunnel using a 15m-class large-diameter slurry balance shield tunneling method, mainly crossing soft soil and sand-gravel strata.Currently,Zhejiang Province has issued standard schemes for large shield tunneling;however, the existing standards and pricing principles are only applicable to soft soil strata. Therefore, directly using the existing standards would result in cost deviations and affect the project schedule.By analyzing the shield tunneling data collected from the Qinwang Tunnel project, the geological conditions of the sand-gravel strata in the excavation area are classified, and the consumption quantities of labor, major materials, and machinery are calculated for each classification.Based on the consumption quantities for each classification, the corresponding shield tunneling standard rates are calculated.A comparison between the calculated standard rates and the existing standards,as well as on-site construction practices, validates the rationality of the proposed classification and standard scheme.
