Study on Field Test and Numerical Simulation of Dredger Fill Reinforced by Vacuum Preloading Method
This paper relies on actual dredger fill vacuum reinforcement projects. The effect of vacuum preloading on soft soil is evaluated using the field test and numerical simulation in this study. The development of pore water pressure in the soil and the deformation characteristics of the soil in the reinforced area are discussed. The results show that the greater the ground settlement during the preloading period, the better the reinforcement effect, and the smaller the post-construction settlement. The horizontal displacement direction of deep soil in the reinforcement area points to the reinforcement area, and the maximum horizontal displacement occurs on the surface. The maximum horizontal displacement rate occurs at the initial stage of loading. The dissipation of soil pore water pressure is related to soil permeability. The ground settlement is the largest in the pumped air reinforcement area, and the vertical settlement of soil becomes smaller the farther away from the drainage plate area, showing a similar settlement form of"basin".There is a certain"effective depth"in the vacuum precompression reinforcement method, and the influence depth of the drainage plate does not increase with the depth of the insert plate, but there is a"limit depth".
