The Overall Structure Design of an Asymmetric Large-span Eccentric Double-tower Connected Super High-rise Building
This project is a large-span double-tower connected high-rise structure building, the south tower has 32 floors with a roof height of 135.9 m,the north tower has 22 floors with a roof height of 93.1 m,and the angle between the axis of two towers is 17 degrees, and the conjoined body is located on the 19~22 floors. The height, structural system, and dynamic characteristics of the towers on both sides are obviously different, and besides the conjoined body, there are many other irregularities including torsional irregularity, inclined column, floor discontinuity, and local conversion. The key and difficult point of this project is the joint structure scheme.According to the structural arrangement and dynamic characteristics of the unit, the advantages and disadvantages of the strong connection and weak connection schemes are compared, and finally, the strong connection scheme is adopted. The performance-based analysis is carried out for the conjoined body and various irregularities, and the corresponding strengthening measures are taken. At the same time, considering the construction state of the conjoined body,a reasonable construction scheme is adopted,a special analysis is carried out to realize the overall consideration of design and construction. The analysis results show that the structure can meet the predetermined seismic performance targets, and the intention of architectural design was realized.
