Effect of Water Content on Static Bending Strength and Elastic Modulus of Solid Wood Composite Flooring
Solid wood composite flooring is one of widely used decorative materials in the market.Static bending strength and elastic modulus are important parameters to judge its quality, and water content is one of the important factors affecting its static bending strength and elastic modulus. In this paper, the static bending strength and elastic modulus of the same solid wood composite floor under different water content conditions are tested, and it is concluded that the static bending strength and elastic modulus increase first and then decrease with the increase of water content. The maximum value is reached at about 9%,which provides references for manufacturing, inspection and testing, practical application, and revision of standards.
