Research on the Design of Garden-style Resort Hotels:Taking Nanjing Westin Hot Spring Resort Hotel as an Example
Garden-style hotels embrace the harmonious coexistence of man and nature as the design concept.By cleverly combining local topography,landforms,hydrology,vegetation,and other natural conditions,they create a hotel space that harmonizes with the surrounding environment,integrating garden landscape and hotel architecture to create a beautiful artistic conception.Garden-style hotel design aims to blend tradition and modernity,humanities and nature.While meeting the high-quality needs of modern hotel interior functions,it incorporates traditional Chinese architectural elements and garden landscapes to establish a comfortable,pleasant,integrated,and natural leisure resort.This paper uses the Westin Hot Spring Resort Hotel in Nanjing as a case study to explore the relevant design strategies of contemporary garden-style hotels through the analysis of the project's layout,planning concepts,modeling techniques,and courtyard space levels.
