Key Points for Quality Control of Construction Supervision of Replacement of Basin-type Bearings for In-service Bridges
In recent years,the development of bridge engineering technology in China is facing a period of transition from"construction-oriented"to"simultaneous construction and maintenance".Ensuring the safety,durability,and functional use of bridges is a key focus in bridge management and maintenance work.As a key supporting component and important force transmission device in bridge structures,bridge bearings can reliably transmit the loads and deformations(displacement and rotation)borne by the upper structure of the bridge to the lower structure of the bridge.As the service life of bridges increases,traffic volume grows,and environmental factors affect them,bearings will experience varying degrees of aging,wear,and damage.Bearings cannot slide normally,which may lead to deformation and damage to the main structure of the bridge,weakened bearing capacity,and even cause bridge safety accidents.The replacement of bridge bearings not only ensures the structural stability and safe operation of the bridge but also improves the service life and efficiency of the bridge.For this reason,the paper takes the replacement construction of the main bridge basin-type bearings of a cross river bridge as an example and elaborates and summarizes the key points of quality control in the supervision of the entire process of bridge bearing replacement construction,providing certain reference and guidance for the quality control of similar bridge bearing replacement construction.
