Application Value Analysis of BIM Technology in Municipal Road and Bridge Engineering
With the rapid development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization process,road engineering has become an indispensable part of urban construction,and the application value of BIM technology in road engineering has been increasingly prominent in design and construction stage.In the design and construction stage of road engineering,how to ensure project quality,improve efficiency and reduce cost is a major challenge in road engineering management,while the application of BIM technology just provides a feasible way.In the bridge construction industry,the traditional construction methods often have problems such as low planning efficiency,high communication cost,and large safety risks,which has been solved and achieved remarkable results by applying BIM technology in the bridge construction stage.This paper mainly discusses the application points of BIM technology in the whole process of bridge construction,takes the application value of BIM technology as the starting point,analyzes its advantages and limitations,and puts forward the application value analysis and future development direction.
