Natural Disaster Risk Response Strategies for Buildings from Perspective of Planning and Design
China suffers from frequent and serious natural disasters. This paper aims to study the natural disaster risk response strategies for buildings from the perspective of planning and design. This paper first analyzes the impact categories of natural disasters on buildings, and systematically summarizes the basic knowledge related to the two major disaster bearing bodies of buildings and municipal facilities respectively.Through planning and design as well as considering the impact of natural disasters in advance, full considerations are given to the planning and layout of evacuation sites and refuge places, emergency evacuation measures, lifeline systems, fire fighting and other important facilities to avoid natural disasters. The comprehensive disaster prevention ability of the living environment,is gradually improved,so as to achieve the goal of giving priority to prevention, resistance, avoidance and rescue. At the micro level, the design and construction of buildings for individual projects are carried out in strict accordance with the national design code for natural disaster defense,so as to fundamentally improve the defense capability of buildings themselves. In addition,it is necessary to focus on the maintenance and reinforcement of lifeline projects, strengthen disaster early warning and supervision, and maintain and update emergency rescue facilities.
