Study on Design Strategies for Exhibition Complex---Taking the permanent venue of World Laureates Forum as example
The rapid development of the exhibition industry and diversified needs of the social economy in China have led that the multi-functional exhibition complex has gradually developed into the mainstream exhibition building type in recent years.Its increasingly complex forms,functions,spaces,as well as their stronger social and urban demands have triggered more meticulous design requirements.Taking the permanent venue of the World Laureates Forum as example,this paper analyzes the design elements of contemporary exhibition complexes from three aspects--overall layout,functional space,and green practice.From the perspective of overall layout,the paper discusses the distribution of compound exhibition centers,traffic flow organization,and the echo of the relationship between architecture and city.At the architectural design level,the paper explores the key points of functional space layout of exhibition complex.At the same time,the paper also states the development trend of architectural facade in green practice.
