Abstract
Existing residential areas usually have complex problems left over from history and residents'interest demands,which require the joint participation of the government,enterprises,social organizations,residents and other forces.Through scientific planning,innovative structural design,reasonable material selection,strict construction technology management and environmental protection measures,the space utilization efficiency of old residential areas can be improved,so as to create a more livable environment for residents,and enhance the living quality of both the residential areas and the residents.
