Exploration on Renewal Strategy of Old Communities in Beijing under Background of Volume Reduction
Since China has stepped into the middle and late stages of rapid urbanization,urban development has shifted from large-scale incremental construction to an approach that places equal emphasis on quality improvement of stock renewal and structural adjustment of incremental construction,in which the renewal and transformation of old communities has become an important element that affects people's well-being.As one of the cities with high urbanization rate in China,Beijing has a forward-looking and leading role in the practice of renewal and renovation of old communities.Based on the policy summary and case study of the renewal of old communities in Beijing,this paper tries to explore the renewal and renovation mode as well as the financing scheme of old communities,which could provide ideas and methods for the renovation of old communities and dilapidated buildings in the future.
