Overview of Steel Structure Design Code in China and the United States
In the context of globalization,engineering companies are actively expanding their overseas business,making the study of international st eel structure design specifications increasingly important.In particular,the American specifications,due to their wide recognition,have become key t o enhancing the international competitiveness of enterprises.Through a detailed analysis and comparison of design methods,calculations of bending structures,and practical case studies,a better understanding of the similarities and differences between the two countries'specifications can be achiev ed,thereby providing guidance for engineering practice.In the comparative analysis of Chinese and American specifications,it is found that under th e same load conditions and material strengths,the dimensions of bent components calculated according to American specifications are often slightly s maller than those calculated according to Chinese specifications.This research not only enhances the competitiveness of enterprises in overseas marke ts,but also helps to promote the steel structure design levels in China,fostering the sustainable development of the construction industry.
