Feasibility Study on Restoration Management Method and Sustainable Development of Qingyan Garden
The Qingyan Garden is the most classical leisure garden in Huai'an City,whicht carries the history of water control,canal transportation as well as the rise and fall of Huai'an City.Based on the characteristics of Qingyan Garden itself,this study uses a variety of methods to conduct field research and data analysis,and puts forward suggestions for sustainable development.The study finds that the landscape,architecture and plants of Qingyan Garden are in good condition and welcomed by the local people,but it lacked popularity among tourists and non-local residents.As a Yamen garden,Qingyan Garden is closely connected with water management and canal culture.Integrating it with canal culture,and creating an integrated tourism industry is conducive to the inheritance of canal culture,enhancing the regional public's sense of identity to the city.In contrast to the well-known Suzhou Gardens,Qingyan Garden still needs to improve its publicity strategy and activity organization,and should actively plan and organize a series of activities with high degree of public participation and interaction,so as to not only attract more tourists,but also effectively enhance the Qingyan Garden in the public's awareness and reputation.
