Guizhou area,with its unique climate characteristics,puts forward special requirements for the insulation design of building exterior wall.This paper discusses in detail the principles and precautions of building exterior wall insulation design in hot summer and cold winter areas of Guizhou Province,aiming to provide theoretical guidance for related engineering practice.Combined with the regional climate characteristics,from the perspective of design,the requirements of insulation design in the material selection and specification are discussed in detail,which provides a new idea for the insulation design of building exterior wall in Guizhou area.
