Exploration and Practice of Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Area in Urban and Rural Construction——Taking"Double Carbon"pilot area of Xidong New Town as example
This paper takes the"Double Carbon"pilot area of Xidong New Town as an example,and explores the development model of achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in urban and rural construction in this type of area.It starts with the introduction of carbon peak strategies at national,provincial,and municipal levels,with the goal of achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the urban and rural construction of Xidong New Town by 2028 and 2049 respectively.Based on its construction and development model,the article explores and summarizes the development experience of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in urban and rural construction,and points out the existing problems and challenges.
