From the perspective of beautiful countryside policy,this paper analyzes the connotation differences between the construction of beautiful countryside and the renovation of rural architecture,introduces the current status of the protection mode of traditional residential buildings by relevant government units under the current social conditions,and points out the practical problems faced by the protective renovation of rural architecture.Through the field investigation of Xiwu Village,the feasibility study on the restoration and protection of traditional dwellings is put forward,and the appropriate protective transformation strategy is proposed according to the current problems,which could provide a way of thinking and research for the protection of traditional dwellings in the rural architectural heritage.
