Research on Countryside Planning in Context of Urban-Rural Integration——Case study of the western countryside Park in Xinmin City
With the acceleration of the urbanization process, the ecological environment fragmentation and population hollowing in the countryside areas are becoming increasingly prominent, and the development difference between urban and rural areas is becoming increasingly obvious. The implementation of the urban-rural integration strategy, how to coordinate the relationship between urban and rural areas and improve the ecological and landscape functions of urban and rural areas, has become the focus of current research. However,at present, the planning and design of urban and rural fringe in China still faces many problems, such as not making full use of its regional coordination effect in ecological and landscape functions,as well as the emphasis on the physical and mental needs of tourists. On this basis, taking Xinmin City's western countryside as the research object, this paper discusses the countermeasures of urban-rural integration in the countryside, hoping to put forward new ideas for the development and construction of the countryside.
