Research on Energy Dissipation and Seismic Reduction Design for Construction of Middle School A Teaching Building in High Intensity Areas of Xinjiang
High intensity areas are more susceptible to the impact of earthquakes.Studying the energy dissipation and seismic reduction design of teaching buildings in high-intensity areas can help with later recovery, reduce post-earthquake losses, and enhance survival security. This article takes the teaching building of Middle School A as the research object, analyzes the energy dissipation and seismic reduction goals, and adopts standardized energy dissipation and seismic reduction technology and wall viscous fluid damper scheme. The research results show that under seismic fortification, the main body of the teaching building is elastic, and the viscous fluid damper begins to yield and dissipate energy under moderate earthquakes. The average equivalent additional damping ratio is 4.56%in the X-axis and 6.49%in the Y-axis,which can meet the requirement of 3%additional damping ratio. Therefore the effect of the viscous fluid damper is significant.
