This paper firstly introduces the objects and scope of urban physical examination,physical examination content and index system as well as physical examination methods of Urumqi City.Secondly,the evaluation indexes of urban physical examination of Urumqi City are put forward from four aspects,including housing dimension,community dimension,block dimension and urban dimension,and the evaluation indexes are analyzed and evaluated respectively.Finally,combined with the analysis of the rectification of urban short board indexes,suggestions for urban development are put forward.
