This paper discusses the design method of renovation and reinforcement of one brick-concrete residential building in a manufacturing plant.The paper elaborately describes the reinforcement measures taken after comprehensive evaluation of building structure,including the design and implementation of wall reinforcement,brick-column reinforcement with new structural columns,and supporting beams.By using advanced structural analysis software for seismic verification,this study proposes a systematic reinforcement scheme to ensure the building's seismic resistance and safety,and also evaluates the construction effects post-reinforcement,validating the effectiveness and practicality of the renovation plan.
