In the current context of urban renewal,the development stage of the city has changed from"incremental expansion"to"stock optimization".To meet the aspirations of the people for a better life,it is imperative to improve the level of architectural design management,so as to promote high-quality urban development.This paper deeply analyzes the main challenges existing in the current architectural design management in China,and explores the ideas and countermeasures for strengthening architectural design management in the new era,including building a theoretical system of architectural design value tailored to the nation's context,enhancing the architectural design regulatory framework,giving full play to the control and guidance role of urban design,improving the review system of architectural design schemes,and accelerating the cultivation of architects'whole-process control capabilities,so as to provide reference for further improving the system and mechanism of architectural design management.
