Ecological Urban-Rural Planning and Design Method based on Cultural Gene Theory
The theory of cultural genes originates from the concept of genes in biology, used to describe the stable transmission of information units in cultural inheritance. This theory is widely applied in multiple disciplines, including the field of urban and rural planning,to explore how regional cultural characteristics affect and shape environmental construction. In ecological urban-rural planning, combining cultural gene theory can effectively identify and protect local cultural characteristics, and integrate them into ecological design,so as to achieve harmonious coexistence between culture and natural environment. This article first explores the theoretical basis and practical significance of combining cultural genes with ecological urban-rural planning, proposes an ecological urban-rural planning design method with cultural gene orientation, and demonstrates the application effect and implementation steps of this concept in practical planning through specific case analysis.
