The elderly facilities should pursue better thermal comfort,higher air quality,good sound environment and higher safety level as the design goals.Taking some elderly facilities in a high-end demonstration community of Xiamen as an example,the problems of multi-connected split air condition system,air-conditioning system and smoke management system encountered in the design process are introduced,and it is pointed out that the national standard is only the minimum requirements for designers,and the corresponding standards should be raised in appropriate cases,in order to provide design reference for other elderly facilities projects.
