This paper investigates the architectural design of high-quality housing based on climate adaptation characteristics,analyzing the zoning of different climate regions in China and their corresponding microclimate features.It discusses the key points of residential floor plan design and spatial structure design,proposes strategies for neighborhood layout and unit layout design adapted to the climate,aiming to enhance the energy efficiency,environmental comfort,and sustainability of residential buildings,which could provide scientific basis and guidance for the design and practice of Green Buildings.
