Research Progress and Prospect of Urban Renewal Evaluation System
Urban renewal is a key task after a city reaches a certain stage of the development,and it is a complex system.The industry usually implements the idea of system theory in the whole process of urban renewal planning,and the evaluation system is the basic and vital task in the complex system to help optimize the process of urban renewal.This article provides a literature review of the evaluation system within the urban renewal system project and summarizes the"Five Perspectives"of urban renewal:renovation perspective,attractiveness perspective,protection and development perspective,potential perspective,and social governance perspective.Furthermore,drawing on the three pillars of economic renewal,social renewal,and environmental renewal in the context of urban renewal,and integrating the concept of"livable,resilient,and smart cities"as outlined in the 20th National Congress,this article proposes a comprehensive four-dimensional evaluation index system model that includes livable,resilience,intelligence,and developing potential.The article anticipates that more scholars will engage in research on urban renewal evaluation systems in the future.
