Innovation Research for Old Residential Building Renovation in Context of Urban Renewal——Case study of Jiaxing City,Zhejiang Province
Old residential buildings often have problems such as aging facilities and unreasonable layout of living spaces.In order to improve the quality of life of residents,innovative research is carried out on the renovation of old residential buildings,so as to improve land use efficiency,integrate urban functional zoning,and make urban layout more scientific and reasonable.Therefore,taking Jiaxing City in Zhejiang Province as an example,this paper proposes innovative ideas for the renovation of old residential buildings under the background of urban renewal.A renovation project for old residential buildings within an area of approximately 18 square kilometers between the first and second ring roads in Jiaxing City is designed for the renovation of old residential buildings in context of urban renewal,with the overall goal to enhance the residential style,improve public facilities,renovate street and alley spaces,and beautify waterfront landscapes,which could provide more beautiful and comfortable living environment for residents.
