Preliminary Analysis of Protection,Revitalization and Utilization Method of Historical and Cultural Blocks in Liwan District
With the rapid advancement of urbanization,the protection,revitalization and utilization of historical and cultural heritage have become important issues for urban sustainable development.Liwan District has introduced the"Liwan District Historical and Cultural Block Protection,Revitalization and Utilization Work Mechanism",which provides a legal basis for the protection,revitalization and utilization of historical and cultural blocks,helps Liwan District to create more high-quality projects for historical protection and inheritance,stimulates the vitality of"new"cultural,business and tourism,takes the lead in building a new vitality demonstration area in the old city,and effectively enhances the sense of belonging,security and happiness of the people.This article takes Liwan District in Guangzhou City as an example to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by historical and cultural districts in the process of modernization.
