The Sponge City systematic solution is a crucial component guiding the implementation of Sponge City construction projects and achieving the planning goals of Sponge City development.As an industrial city in the northwest Loess Plateau region,Tongchuan has taken the opportunity of building a Sponge City model city in a systematic and holistic manner.In combination with the city's conditions and construction needs,it innovatively analyzes and formulates a systematic implementation plan covering water resource conservation,water security guarantee,water environment improvement,and water ecological restoration from four levels of watershed-city-facility-community,serving as a reference for the Sponge City construction of similar cities in the western region.
