Current situation and innovative reform of information literacy education in university
Information literacy is the ability to perceive,evaluate,analyze,and utilize information.General education focuses on the comprehensive development of individuals and cultivates"educated people".The article sorts out the connotations and relationships between general education and information literacy,and uses questionnaire survey,empirical research,and online survey methods to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the teaching objects,teaching modes,credits,and other aspects of information literacy education courses offered by some key universities in China.It empirically examines the current situation and challenges of information literacy courses from the perspective of general education in China,in order to explore a teaching method for the harmonious development of general education and information literacy education,and to construct a new system for the healthy development of information literacy education.
