Experimental Study and Industrial Application of Iron Mine Classification and Pre-selection in Jingtieshan of Jiugang
The ore grade of Huashugou V ore body in Jingtieshan of Jiugang is low,and the gangue is closely related to the dissemination and intergrowth of iron minerals. If the ore mixed with waste rock is directly sent to the beneficiation plant for treatment,it will produce a series of problems such as high production cost and damage to the mining balance of different stopes in Huashugou. In order to solve these problems, the classification separation process was used to carry out the pre-selection and discarding test of large and small ore blocks. The results show that both 15~3 mm and 30~15 mm size fractions are discarded by two times of high intensity magnetic pre-selection.The discarding rate of 15~3 mm size fraction is 24.50%,the iron grade of waste rock is 4.75%,the iron grade of concentrate is 29.64%,and the iron operation recovery rate of concentrate is 95.06%.The discarding rate of 30~15 mm size fraction is 20.88%,the iron grade of waste rock is 9.84%,the iron grade of concentrate is 27.40%,and the iron operation recovery rate of concentrate is 92.61%.The iron grade is raised by 6.10 and 3.67 percentage points respectively. The 100~30 mm particle size is discarded by X-ray intelligent pre-selection.The operation discarding rate is 20.68%,the iron grade of waste rock is 12.55%,the iron operation recovery rate of concentrate is 89.15%,and the iron grade is raised by 2.96 percentage points.Based on the system test,a pre-selection production line for processing 1.15 million tons of ore per year was built on site, which well solved the problem on site. The success of this project has an ex-emplary role in the efficient pre-selection and discarding of feebly magnetic refractory iron ore.
