Experimental Research on Enrichment and Separation of a Low-grade Lead-zinc-copper Polymetallic Sulfide Ore
A low-grade lead-zinc-copper polymetallic sulfide ore in Yunnan has lead grade of 0.61%,zinc grade of 3.28%,and copper grade of 0.25%.The associated Au and Ag grades are 0.09 and 18.04 g/t,respectively.The disseminated grain size of the ore is fine and the symbiotic relationship is complex. In order to efficiently develop and utilize the low-grade ore,a systematic flotation test was carried out.The results show that the copper concentrate with copper grade of 21.97%,cop-per recovery of 80.85%,gold grade of 1.60 g/t,silver grade of 189.00 g/t and lead grade of 1.80%,the lead concentrate with lead grade of 76.22%,lead recovery of 88.72%,gold grade of 0.75 g/t,silver grade of 1 433.00 g/t and copper grade of 1.87%,and the zinc concentrate with zinc grade of 52.18%and zinc recovery of 93.03%were obtained by copper lead mixed flotation-copper lead separation-zinc flotation process. The separation and enrichment effect of the main valuable components of lead, zinc and copper is good.Gold and silver are enriched in copper concentrate and lead concentrate to a certain extent. The high zinc content in copper concentrate is related to the closely dissemination relationship between chalcopyrite and sphalerite. The low grade of Au and Ag in the raw ore and the high degree of dispersion in the ore are the reasons for the low comprehen-sive recovery index of gold and silver.
