Study on Sealing and Purification Performance of Indoor Ore Transfer Dust in Extremely Cold Area
The air tightness of the mineral processing workshop in extremely cold areas and the high degree of dust accu-mulation in the indoor ore transfer link threaten the occupational health of operators and the operation safety of electrical equip-ment.This paper takes the ore transfer process of a metal ore grinding workshop in northeast China as an example.Based on the study of the physical and chemical properties of ore dust,a new type of dust control scheme between the closed dust removal of the guide trough and the dust removal of the gas-liquid coil suction dust collector is proposed.The closed performance of the closed dust removal system of the guide trough on the transfer of dust,and the purification ability of the gas-liquid coil suction dust collector on the collected dust-containing air flow is discussed.The results show that the particle size of the dust escaping from the molybdenum ore transfer point is concentrated and distributed between 0.2~3.0 μm,and it has a strong hydrophilici-ty,and the content of free silica is as high as 48.6%,which belongs to the category of silicon dust;the closed dust extraction system of the guide trough effectively inhibits the escape of dust from the transfer point under the isolation and diversion of the air curtain at the feed port,and the concentration of dust and exhaled dust near the transfer point decreased by 61.1%and 50.0%respectively compared with before use;the gas-liquid roll suction dust collector has good dust removal under the two flow types of shear liquid curtain and roll suction bubble.The effect is that the dust removal efficiency of molybdenum ore dust at the transfer point can reach 92.8%~96.3%.The study results and on-site implementation experience can provide useful ref-erence for dust control in closed workshops in extremely cold area of Northern China.
