Study on Dust Migration Rule at Discharge Port of Crushing Station in Open-pit Mine
In order to reveal the dust migration law of the unloading process in the crushing station of the open-pit mine and optimize the dust reduction measures, taking a domestic open-pit mine crushing station as the object, the dust concentration was measured, the dust was collected and the dust particle size and contact angle were measured to understand the basic char-acteristics of the dust. The Fluent software was used to establish the geometric model of the unloading port of the crushing sta-tion,simulate the dust migration law of the unloading process, and explore the relationship between the dust concentration, the particle size and the mass flow rate. The results show that the total dust concentration around the discharge port is 43.9~526.7 mg/m3,the respirable dust concentration is 3.6~32.3 mg/m3,and the pollution is serious. The median particle size of the fall-out dust sample is 23.016 μm.The initial contact angle between dust and water is 41.28°,and the wettability is strong.During the unloading process, the dust concentration in the area around the unloading port is inversely proportional to the dust particle size. When the average dust particle size is 2.5 μm,the average dust concentration on the monitoring surface is the highest, which is 538 mg/m3.The dust concentration is proportional to the mass flow rate.According to the law of dust migration, the measures of installing rolling curtains, adding dust collectors, and using micro-nano bubble water as the spray medium for spray dust reduction are proposed. The dust removal effect of the dust collector at the inlet wind speed of-16,-20,and-24 m/s is simulated and analyzed. The results show that the dust removal efficiency is 94%when the wind speed is-20 m/s,and the treatment effect is the best. The research results can provide reference for mining enterprises to formulate dust reduction schemes.
