3D Terrain Reconstruction and Accuracy Analysis of Mining Area Based on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Photogrammetry
The 3D reconstruction of terrain in mining area is of great significance for terrain analysis and production in mining area. The traditional reconstruction method has the problems of low efficiency, slow data updating speed and high cost.A 3D reconstruction method of terrain in mining area based on UAV photogrammetry technology is proposed. In this method,UAV is used for low-altitude shooting,SIFT feature point matching algorithm is used to obtain a series of matching points, and irregular triangular mesh and texture mapping are generated by feature extraction,three-space measurement and multi-view im-age intensive matching technology to realize automatic reconstruction of the three-dimensional terrain model of mining area. The experimental results show that the proposed method can obtain the 3D reconstruction results of mining area topography with high precision under the condition of sufficient quantity and reasonable selection of ground control points. The reconstruction of the 3D model can fully present the overall shape and local details of the mining terrain, and has the advantages of high efficien-cy and low cost. The proposed method can be described as a more accurate, efficient and reliable topographic information data source and technical support for environmental protection and related analysis in mining areas.
