Study on Improving the Mechanical Properties of Graphite Solid Waste-based Electric Heating Plates by Ball-Milling
In order to improve the mechanical properties of the electric heating plate, mined waste rock is used as aggre-gate in graphite mine after ball milling, and the electric heating plate was prepared by adding spherical graphite tailings, cement and water reducer. The influence of grinding conditions on the mechanical properties of the test block was studied. The results showed that:① After grinding, the angular surface of the graphite waste stone aggregate is reduced and the bulk density is in-creased.The particle size of ball milling shaping aggregate is similar to that of raw materials, which meets the requirements of substrate ratio for plate preparation.② The compressive strength of the hot plate test block prepared by grinding and shaping aggregate is effectively improved, and the flexural strength does not change much.③ The suitable ball milling shaping condi-tions were grinding concentration of 60%,grinding time of 15 min and ball mill speed of 100 r/min,and the compressive and flexural strength of the test block of 28 d were 53.30 MPa and 8.60 MPa,respectively, which were 12.90 MPa and 1.43 MPa higher than those of the electric hot plate test block prepared from raw materials.
