Study on XRT Induction Characteristics and Pre-selection Feasibility of a Gold Ore
In order to reduce the separation cost of a thin vein type gold ore and examine the feasibility of setting pre-concentration and discarding before grinding, based on the systematic process mineralogy characteristics of representative sam-ples and XRT induction characteristics study and XRT pre-concentration test, the grade of gold ore is accurately classified based on the gray level distribution range and the highest peak distribution range of XRT image. The pre-concentration condi-tions of ore with different particle sizes and different discarding rates are tested, and the suitable pre-concentration particle size of the gold ore is determined. The C1500XRT pre-concentration equipment is used to carry out the expanded test of discarding. The results show that the gold grade of the ore is 1.23 g/t,the sulfur content is 1.50%,the main gangue minerals are feldspar and quartz, and the ore belongs to low grade poor sulfide quartz vein type gold ore.The disseminated particle size of gold miner-als is extremely uneven, most of which are less than 0.074 mm,mainly intergranular gold, followed by encapsulated gold and a small amount of fissure gold, which are closely associated with sulfides such as pyrite. For the 10~60 mm fraction, under the condition of 76.51%discarding rate, the pre-concentration concentrate is combined with the-10 mm fraction, the Au recovery rate is 95.84%,the gold grade of waste rock is 0.11 g/t,and the pre-concentration enrichment ratio is 4.03.The discarding effect is good. The research results have guiding significance for reducing the beneficiation cost of the gold ore.
