Investigation and management countermeasures of invasive plants in forest and wetland ecosystem in Yangzhou City
The species composition, life forms, reproduction mode, origin, invasion mode, ecosystem type and distribution of alien invasive plants in forest and wetland ecosystems of Yangzhou City were studied through line investigation and data analysis. The results showed that there were 18 species of alien invasive plants in Yangzhou City, belonging to 15 genera,9 families.Among them,Compositae had the most species(9 species),accounting for50.00%.The alien invasive plants in this survey were all herbaceous plants, with annual or biennial plants being the most(10 species),accounting for 55.56%.Most of these herbaceous plants rely on seed reproduction, and only three aquatic herbaceous plants,Alternanthera philoxe-roides,Pistia stratiotes and Eichhornia crassipes, rely on vegetative reproduction.According to the statistics of origin, the number of plant species native to the Americas was the largest(15 species),accounting for83.33%.Fifty percent(9 spe-cies)of invasive plants were intentionally introduced,forty-four percent(8 species)were unintentionally introduced, and only one species was naturally introduced. From the perspective of ecosystem, the number of exotic plants in arbor forest land and shrub forest land is the largest, with 15 and 13 species respectively. In this paper, the occurrence of alien invasive plants in Yangzhou City was discussed and analyzed, and the corresponding management countermeasures were put forward.
