Application of HPB technology in emergency capacity expansion project of wastewater treatment plant
The current treatment capacity of a wastewater treatment plant in Hunan is 10×104 m3/d,in the upgrading process, the secondary treatment structures should be divided into groups and stopped production for reconstruction, which leads to the reduction of the treatment capacity and the discharge of sewage into the river. In order to prevent sewage from flowing into the river, high concentration powder carrier bio-fluid bed technology was used for emergency expansion and renovation of biochemical system, the transformation takes a total of 20 days. The operation results after the transformation show that, the waste treatment capacity of the wastewater treatment plant reached 10 × 104m3/d,doubling the treatment capacity, under the condition of only operating a sin-gle group of secondary treatment structures, and all indicators of the effluent have steadily reached the first class A standard of the Discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treat-ment plant(GB 18918-2002).
