Source tracing of water distribution system supplied with multi-waterworks
In order to improve the security and service reliability of urban water supply,multi-ple waterworks are often used to supply water to the distribution system.The water supply area with multiple waterworks can be divided into the subareas completely supplied by a single water-works and the subareas jointly supplied by multiple waterworks.The division of these water sup-ply subareas,as well as the percentage of water supplied by each waterworks at each node and each link in the distribution system,can be analyzed by using the source tracing function in the water quality model of the water distribution systems.After describing the principle and analysis process of water source tracing,it is illustrated by a single working condition example and an extend time simulation example.Source tracing is of great significance to understand the water supply status of each waterworks to the distribution systems.
