Construction and verification of the quantitative measurement for extraneous water inflow and infiltration of sewage system
Inflow and infiltration of extraneous water of urban sewage systems poses serious challen-ges for the operation of sewage collection and treatment facilities.It is necessary to diagnose and evaluate the ratio of sewage and extraneous water by a convenient and low-cost method.Based on the chemical mass balance model,construct a quantitative measurement to calculate the ratio of sewage and extraneous water using conventional water quality index as the characteristic factor,and set 3 types of source water and 11 water quality indexes to simulate and verity its feasibility.The results show that the measurement can get relatively accurate proportion range of sewage water and can provide technical reference for the on-site extraneous water inflow and infiltration diagnose.
