Research on wastewater reusing from refining and chemical enterprises into circulating cooling water systems
Due to the severity of the water scarcity condition in our country, the importance of water conservation and emission reduction for industries is increasing gradually. The quality of the wastewater from two bioreactors in a refining company was investigated, and the water processes of production units were also analyzed. The wastewater from the coal chemistry biochemical reac-tor with a volume of 140 m3/h was identified to be suitable for reuse in the circulation cooling water system(CCWS).Under different reuse schemes, the maximum concentration ratio that the scheme can achieve was calculated based on the water quality standards of CCWS.Two optimized reuse schemes were obtained, achieving high concentration ratio(≥5)operation of the CCWS with the reuse of the wastewater.Further research is planned in various aspects, such as optimizing wa-ter treatment chemicals and upgrading wastewater treatment units,to further improve the reuse rate of wastewater, and achieve higher goals of water conservation and emission reduction.
