The main principles of sustainable design are expounded and summarized based on the water supply and drainage design of the public group of Yanqing Winter Olympic Village.This article introduces the thinking and technical measures of water supply and drainage during and after the competition in detail about the three main spaces of the public group:Reserving structure condi-tion and equipment installation space at Sport and Leisure Area;Adding temporary facilities and fully utilize the old ones at Clinic Area;Installing permanent facilities in one go at Catering Kitchen Area;Fire protection equipment are installed as permanent facilities,and the main fire protection pipes are routed to avoid competition renovation areas.Through flexible sustainable design strate-gies,aiming to achieve the dual goals of meeting the demand during the competition and reducing the difficulty of reconstruction after the competition.
