The calculation for the volume of hot water storage tank is crucial in the design of an air-source heat pump hot water system.This article introduces and analyzes the calculation formu-las for the volume of hot water storage tank in current standard regulations,and points out the possible problems in the application of the formulas.Based on the coverage relationship between the running time of the air-source heat pump and the duration of the water peak,the calculation formulas for the volume of hot water storage tank are analyzed and derived in a 24-hour centralized hot water supply system with the air-source heat pump running at a fixed time.Within the design value range,the volumes of hot water storage tank calculated by the above formulas are analyzed.An estimated value for the volume of hot water storage tank in the scheme stage is proposed.
