Study on the classification of heavy rainfall type and its application in drainage operation in Guangzhou city
Heavy rainfall is one of the main causes of urban flooding, but the rainfall patterns of heavy rainfall are random and diverse. In order to take precise control measures for waterlog-ging,it is necessary to classify and study the rain patterns of heavy rainfall in conjunction with the operational requirements of urban drainage facilities. In this study,we summarize the domestic and international research on rain type classification and conduct online rainfall monitoring on the Dong-hao Chung watershed in Guangzhou city, and fuzzy identification of the measured rainfall using standardized Euclidean distance and similarity analysis methods for the measured rainfall with two measured rainfall events. The research results show that the present rainfall fuzzy identification method can better classify the ongoing rainfall patterns based on the short-time rainfall of the four measured rainfall events. The research results can be used for the dynamic scheduling of drainage system based on the real-time monitoring and dynamic fuzzy recognition of rain patterns.
