The design of the hot water system for the student dormitory in the new campus of Chengdu No.7 High School is introduced and analyzed.Taking into account the specific character-istics of hot water usage in secondary school dormitories and feedback from previous projects,the considerations when implementing an air-source heat pump system are addressed.Additionally,the challenges that arise when calculating the flow rate of the cold water supply pump in accordance with regulations are discussed,and the methods to rectify these conflicts are presented.Further-more,the measures to ensure efficient circulation in the hot water system are analyzed and the lay-out method of the water supply pipelines is provided.These findings will serve as a valuable refer-ence for the design of similar hot water systems in secondary school accommodation buildings.
