Improved inclined plate sedimentation and cyclone sand removal process in pretreatment of Han River middle and lower reaches water source
The Han River plays an important role in water resources supply,it downstream portion where seasonal sediment levels are relatively high, with fine sand particles below 200μm.This brings challenges to water treatment systems.Taking the Han River middle and lower rea-ches water source relocation project as an example, this paper introduces the application of the"im-proved inclined plate sedimentation+cyclone sand removal"process in the project. The cyclone sand removal process is used to remove sand from wastewater, forming an effective process for re-moving fine sand sedimentation and recycling wastewater. This meets new environmental require-ments and saves water by approximately 1.7‰,providing valuable experience for pretreatment de-sign in dealing with fine sand.
